Walking silently and making her pace smooth on the way, she was trying to cover up her body from all sides. When she was about to cross the road, a group of boys whistled loudly and crossed by touching her body. She became nervous and tightly pressed her shawl in her hand. When she stopped a rickshaw, she looked upward to tell address and there, she saw greed in eyes. Seeing this, she moved away with tears in eyes and gloominess in soul.
He was dancing in a marriage hall and singing with his beautiful voice at the same time. Everyone was praising him loudly and money was falling around him like the rotten leaves. When he stopped, someone came there and touched him, exaggerating his feminist vibes, saying: "Hey dolly! Let's spend a night to enjoy". This made him cry and he ran away from there.
They were walking together and laughing by sharing snacks in hands. Both were innocent and were looking at each other, without any fear. On school gate, they stopped and looked around for their school van. An uncle came and asked them that their father sent him to take them to home. Both smiled and sat behind his bike with the thought that they'll enjoy today.
A dead body was found in the room‼️ Dead body of girl, brutally killed and signs of beaten could be seen on face. Parents were crying and furious but being judged by others. People came, eyes opened in shock and voices could be heard about character of girl.
There was smell in the room, when Guru entered in his house. He looked around and saw his dead body hanging to fan‼️ There was a note written. "Guru! I blindly trusted this world. I gave them by talent and tried to earn. They misused my gender and raped me in morning. I was raped every time by their eyes in daylight and was raped every night by their masculinity. I was unable to bear the pain, so, I decided to embrace Death. Forgive me for my feebleness".
He was walking to his home, when he saw a cloth. He stopped and searched in the bushes. What he found made him cry. Two dead bodies of innocent children, with bluish skins and tears rolled on cheeks. Their bodies were mashed brutally and seemed like they were assaulted inhumanely‼️
In a report, it was mentioned that in last 6 years, 20,000 cases of rapes were reported to police in Pakistan and there are still many, that remained suppressed, unreported or unknowingly happened. Sometimes suppressed due to the fear of being judged, esteems of families and due to the future of little siblings. The other times, it was seen that cultures, norms and society's pressure made them lower their voice because of less resources. Every third female face sexual, physical and psychological assaults everyday but remain quiet, because she can't fight. She remains silent because SHE'S A FEMALE. Every transgender face harassments but can't speak, because HE'S A TRANS. Many males face sexual harassment or gets raped but keeps his mouth shut because of society's acceptance and mockery. He keeps his mouth shut because HE'S A MALE.
Such incidents happen everyday in our society and it's becoming a tradition. Rapes cases are increasing, sexual assaults are becoming a trend and consequences of these are deaths, either by suicide or on-spot brutal death. It's like a circle moving on and making us weak somehow. Things are becoming complex and fear is rising high. Everyone is scared deep inside because of the view that they can get raped, assaulted or killed.
Fear is rising high, making us numb❗
Risks are getting high, making us crumb ❗
There's a dire need to take a step ~ crutial step that would change the thoughts. It is the time to make our community learn to face, fight and crash those who harass or try to rape. Awareness campaigns and speaking up to make a trend is the need of hour. Education ~ either through different skits, dance performances, written articles, campaigns or through trainings is needed. It's not about boys, girls or trans. It's about US. We need to take a stand because our entire generation is on the verge of destruction. We are suffering somehow in this fear and we need to end up this by speaking up. We were born free and we are to live free.
End up the slavery of minds,
Speak up to change minds ❗
Speak up to end sufferings,
Speak up to eradicate brutality❗
